The Advisor

My name is Dustin Bell and I founded Reflective Financial because I love investing, financial planning, and helping others build meaningful lives. I enjoy the math. I enjoy the human interaction. I enjoy honing the multi-disciplinary expertise. I enjoy the big questions about life that flow from it. If you choose to work with me, you’ll be choosing a financial strategist who will care a lot about seeing you succeed and work hard to make it happen.

Before founding Reflective, I enjoyed a successful career in finance, investment management and strategy. I’m a former CFO and COO. I was a strategy executive at a Fortune 50 company where I built analytically complex, high consequence business plans. I was an investment portfolio manager and assistant controller at a commercial bank. I’m also an entrepreneur who has launched two businesses.

In addition to this experience, I have an MBA and a Certificate in Financial Planning. I’ve passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Exam and the Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me trail running or having other fun in the mountains of Colorado. I also love exploring the world with my wonderful wife of 20+ years and my two daughters.
